2024 is going to bring a whole lot of new projects under the umbrella of Brock Cooper Productions LLC.

Starting with "The Observer", a short film inspired by the 1960s sci-fi series "The Twilight Zone". It follows two very different people who find themselves in the same place during a possible world-ending event. Don't miss this story and the incredible plot twist! "The Observer" releases in Spring 2024.

Next up is another sci-fi short film called "Alienated" which follows an aspiring singer who isn't quite good at singing. In fact, humans hate it. But a species from another world love it... "Alienated" releases in 2025.

Throughout the year, and possibly more years, I am going to be documenting my friend's journey into becoming a rapper. Good Child is a queer, Christian, underground rapper in Richmond, VA. The documentary does not yet have a release date.

I'm also developing a feature film, which is currently untitled, but will most likely begin filming later this year!

Brock Cooper Production's goal is to produce and release films made by  a diverse groups of people who are passionate about their stories. As we are just starting up, we have a long way to go until we have a lot of different projects under our roof. BCP aims to produce films that are insanely creative, fun, and full of powerful messages. Film festivals are also a focus of this company! For too long, many festivals have gotten away with pricing the submission fees so high that filmmakers who have a lower income cannot participate. We want to change that, and create affordable film festivals for all people and all genres. As Brock Cooper Productions grows, we want to grow our diversity of films to many different genres made by as many different kinds of people as possible. We're a small company, but we have big goals. Brock Cooper Productions is aware that our productions in Richmond, VA, take place on land that was originally home to indigenous people, and we are committed to respecting, and promoting, the real history of the city we call home.

Hi! My name is Brock Cooper and I am a 21 year old student at Virginia Commonwealth University. I'm on track to graduate in 2023 with a major in Cinema and a minor in Business. When I was a 8 years old, I started making stop motion movies with LEGOs and comedy shorts with my friends. Since I was 17, I've been making actual short films. I love writing, producing, and directing. I wanted to create Brock Cooper Productions to be a powerhouse in releasing all kinds of films made by myself and others; films that inspire, films that are representative for everyone, and stories that people resonate with. I come from a privileged background, and it is my hope to share the resources I have with people of all backgrounds who need equipment and other filmmaking resources so their vision is seen. I decided to start Brock Cooper Productions in January of 2023, ahead of production of my first feature film, which will be hopefully be filming this fall!
